Fuyao
Fuyao is a multifunctional reclining chair designed for older users. The backrest and seat cushion tilt synchronously to follow the curve of the spine. A pneumatically adjustable footrest relieves leg fatigue, while a three way adjustable headrest and sliding armrests allow personal settings. Adjusting the angle of the backrest and cushion also helps users to stand up with less effort. A magnetisable headrest simplifies adjustment, and a rubber base cushion reduces noise and prevents slipping. Lines drawn from Chinese calligraphy shape the outline.
Fuyao Chair by Mlesun Furniture Technology Co., Ltd has been recognized as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Fuyao Chair earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
