Long Time
Long Time Clock is inspired by the captivating art of kirigami, a traditional Japanese technique that beautifully combines folding and cutting paper. Just like in kirigami, this clock is a blend of art and functionality. The cutting and folding technique allows for the creation of Roman numerals on the clock's sides. As a result, the numerals themselves seem to leap out of the metal strip, creating a play of positive and negative areas. Made from a laser-cut strip of aluminum, the clock has been sustainably designed to minimize material waste.
Long Time Wall Clock by Shelly Agronin has been identified as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Long Time Wall Clock earned the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
