Fiction
Fiction is a floor lamp designed for residential and office interiors. The base is 1600 mm tall and is made from wooden pieces that are joined, cut and polished into a soft form recalling a tree trunk and branches. Spheres of recycled paper are shaped over light metal frames and hold low energy LED lamps of 14 watts. Simplified crow figures in matte black are made from recycled wood particles. The spheres and the figures can be moved to change the light angle, and a touch switch adjusts the light intensity.
Fiction Light by Amir Baharikhah was featured as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Fiction Light received the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2022. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
