Lazygoose’s Kickproof
Kickproof is a quilt designed for school-age children between three and twelve years of age. The quilting follows the curves of a child's body, and the shoulder area is filled more thickly to stop warm air from escaping. A type-X inner structure adds gentle downward resistance, which reduces the tendency to kick the quilt aside during sleep. A widened fishtail opening leaves room for free leg movement. The filling is a soft fiber similar to down, and the fabric is treated against bacteria and can be machine washed.
Lazygoose’s Kickproof Quilt by Philip Lu has been featured as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Lazygoose’s Kickproof Quilt won the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which rewards exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
