Growing
Growing Tree is a coat rack designed for children. The height of Growing Tree can be adjusted through a spiral structure, so the coat rack remains useful as children grow taller. The idea follows the way small saplings grow into tall trees. Geometric shapes form the hooks, and the same structure allows their angles and heights to be changed. A round base provides support and stability. Bright colours invite children to hang clothes, hats and schoolbags without help. Few materials are used, and the working life of the coat rack is extended.
Growing Coat Rack by Ziel Home Furnishing Technology Co., Ltd was selected as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Growing Coat Rack received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which celebrates superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
